Dear Hackers: You Suck

Dear Hackers: You Suck!  I woke up to a small flood of emails from readers letting me know that ShootTokyo appeared to have been hacked.  I did a quick check and someone had in fact hacked it and installed some malware.    Thankfully Google's filters quickly picked it up and put this warning up.   I hope no one had any issues and looking at my Google Analytics most people clicked away and did not proceed onto ShootTokyo.   There was no permeant damage or loss of data just the hassel and expense of getting the site cleaned up. Hacking ShootTokyo = Not Cool

I called my service provider early this morning and asked them to help me.   I moved from GoDaddy.com a few months ago due to their poor service and picked up with a small web company called Netwise in Japan.  I initially engaged them in the site redesign I am doing for ShootTokyo but then decided to move my hosting there as well as I was having performance issues.  This morning they pounced on my issue and quickly resolved it.  Nothing replaces excellent customer service.
